Anguilla
for the first time, hosted the OECS cycling race on the
island on, Friday, July 04, 2008. The nine-lap race,
sponsored by Cable & Wireless,
started and finished on the Jeremiah Gumbs Highway at
Blowing Point.
Claude Richardson of Anguilla, was the first to cross the
finish line and he did so to much fanfare!
Defending OECS title holder, Antiguan Robert Marsh, did not
participate in this year's event.

3rd Place - Winston Williams - St. Lucia
4th Place - Jyme Bridge - Antigua
5th Place - Danny Laud - Anguilla
