Question 1:
How was the experience overall?
Kafi: "Entering the Miss Anguilla pageant was always
one of my dreams.I took a year to prepare myself
and it was not easy. It took time,
patience, dedication, hardwork, early mornings and late nights.
The overall experience was great, the exposure, workshops
and activities to get the dream girls together was very
different.It
was the first time
I entered a pageant and there were
so many group activities, which not only molded the
individual but helped in building team spirit."
Question 2: What was the moment of being crowned
like?
Kafi: "When I was crowned Miss Anguilla it was the
first time for the night my stomach got butterflies, it felt
like a dream come true. I felt at that moment that all my
hard work had paid off and after preparing for such a long
time I had something to be proud of now. I felt like I had
won it for every one that helped me with the show,
especially for my grandmother and
I felt like I made them extremely proud."
Question 3: What are you looking forward to next?
Kafi: "I am back in school now and have to get right
back on track and stay focused. I
am looking forward to representing Anguilla in the up coming
pageants and events to the best of my abilities."
