Christopher Laing |
January 11, 2008: Offshore
firm Harneys, has announced the promotion of four lawyers to
partner-level in their latest
round of promotions.
The new partners are Kissock Christopher Laing
of the Anguilla office, Tim
Clipstone, Ross Munro, and Chris
Young all operating in the
British Virgin Islands (BVI), in the firm's
investment funds practice and litigation departments.
The four assumed
the partnership level in January
2008.
Kissock Laing is a graduate of the University of the West
Indies and the Norman Manley Law school in Jamaica.
He holds a LLM in Information Technology and
Telecommunications Law from the University of Strathclyde
(Glasgow). Laing, is a former Crown Counsel and has
served as a
Magistrate in Jamaica.
He has previously practiced in the BVI
and in Anguilla, between 1995 and 1999 at two Anguillan
law firms. He is also a Charter
Member of the Optimist Club of Anguilla. |
