A highlight of Anguilla's Carnival
2006, was the Miss Anguilla Pageant held at the Landsome Bowl
Cultural Center on August 10th 2006. Four
beautiful young ladies vyed for the coveted title. They
were, Contestant
#1 Miss Joanne Phillips,
#2 Miss Monique
Reid-Marlin,
#3 Miss Latoya Hughes and
#4 Miss Amber Woodley.
In front of a capacity crowd, the well poised contestant #4 Miss
Amber Woodley was crowned Miss Anguilla 2006
and Miss Latoya Hughes was
adjudged 1st runner up.
Both young ladies also equally shared all other awards disseminated
on the evening.
